JellyLiverpool

JellyLiverpool

JellyLiverpool goes twice monthly as of September 2011.

We’re sticking with the 1st Thursday of the month but now adding on the 3rd Thursday of the month as well.

Come & join the ‘happening set’ in Liverpool for a day of co-working @ Leaf Tea Shop on Bold St.

Newcomers made very welcome, and if this is your first time at JellyLiverpool, here’s some background…

JellyLiverpool enables delegates to escape their normal working environment, be that the spare room, rented desk space or usual café and join in what has become the co-working event that enables people to make new contacts in an informal way whilst still allowing them to work on their deadlines and maintain productivity.

If you haven’t yet experienced JellyLiverpool, perhaps it’s time to check it out.  Fed up with the isolation and clutter of the spare room? Fed up with being distracted by the TV or the washing up, or even the kids?… then JellyLiverpool is for you.

No matter what you do or what you create, you’re welcome to come to JellyLiverpool.  Mingle with like-minded creative people.  It’s a great way to put faces to those you follow on Twitter and more importantly it’s Free …… Free wifi, Free deskspace, Free coffee.

Bring your own laptop and a friendly disposition.  Pop in for an hour or 2 or come work for the full day.  New faces made very welcome.

Still unsure if JellyLiverpool is for you ? …. let’s see, do you …

  • work from home & get “cabin fever”
  • search out coffee shops with wifi & power?
  • wish that “working for yourself” didn’t mean “working by yourself”?
  • are desperate for a change of scene
  • want to expand your network & contacts
  • Seek out some inspiration & motivation?

If the answer to any of these questions is YES; then JellyLiverpool is what you need!

Who attends JellyLiverpool?

Typically we have some developers and internet types, but we also have entrepreneurs and freelancers as well as writers, some tinkerers, artists and designers.  Generally a mixed bunch.

Dave (a JellyLiverpool supporter) Thackeray’s blog sums it up nicely.

The plan is to host a regular JellyLiverpoolon the first Thursday of each month, so if you want to experience a change of scene don’t hesitate, just pop along… You never know who you might meet.
